If you remove all private property, profits, and the means of production you’ll remove all incentive to work, produce, and thrive. 

Sounds like a marvelous plan. 

Yes, because we want to remove the means of production.

Society, screw it, let’s just not produce anything and all die. That’s real socialism!

Socialism doesnt work when you have low or negative population growth.

Just look at Japan or Europe.

It doesn’t work during high unemployment, in fact it only works when everything is fine.

Socialism is unsustainable. 

I hate to break it to you, as I have broken it to countless others, but Japan/European countries aren’t socialist. The “Norwegian Model” isn’t socialism. 

As much as capitalist economists — i.e., economists that adhere to capitalist ideology — would like you to believe that any failing social-democratic capitalist welfare state is socialist, they are not. They are nothing but, well,  social-democratic capitalist welfare states.
